The Birthing
Joy of the LORD Ministries was birthed through Joy Allen in November of 2004 and incorporated as a non-profit Christian ministry in May of 2007.
God first spoke instruction for the ministry and ordained its inception in 1994, as Joy began operating under a very heavy evangelistic anointing, followed by powerful miracles, signs and wonders. As
time progressed, her ministry steadily became more prophetic and apostolic in nature. God continued to mandate the mission, adding instruction and anointing exponentially. It was in 2002 that God spoke instruction for the work to be called "Joy of the LORD Ministries." Due to fear and a misunderstanding of "order" in the church, Joy
hesitated to launch out when first instructed, but finally submitted a "YES" almost two years later. She stepped out on faith, and carefully followed the Father's instruction to form an established voice unto Zion. In 2005, Joy was ordained and confirmed a Prophet amidst a prophetic presbytery and accepted her assignment in the Prophetic office. From that moment, God has blessed the ministry and the visionary as lives around the world have been impacted by HIS word and HIS work through Joy of the LORD Ministries.
 The Vision
Joy of the LORD Ministries exists to teach and promote sound doctrine and biblical instruction to those seeking to "rightly divide the word of truth." Our prayer is that believers throughout the world will not be deceived by false teachings and oppressive traditions, but will seek the face of God through prayer, Bible study and holy living. We emphasize the power of the Holy Spirit in a Christian's life and His ability to empower, lead and teach the believer in all things. Joy of the LORD focuses on replacing religion with RELATIONSHIP!
Our three-fold vision entails numerous assignments from the Father, with instruction to preach SALVATION to the Lost, teach TRUTH to the Believer and offer SUPPORT to the Called.
"Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ" (Colossians 2:8).
"But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things" (1 John 2:20).
The Mission
Prophecy
"Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word of my mouth, and give them warning from me" (Ezekiel 3:17).
Evangelism
"Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature" (Mark 16:15).
Reconciliation
"And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation" (2 Corinthians 5:18-19).
Sound Doctrine and Holy Instruction
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen" (Matthew 28:19-20).
The Assignment
I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me (Ezekiel 33:7).
Joy of the LORD Prophetic Ministries is divinely called and assigned to the ministry of the Watchman. While we are also evangelistic, teaching salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ, we minister primarily to the Church. While our message is not always popular, we have been commissioned to declare the true heart of God - His love and His wrath, His blessings and His judgments. Our assignment is to sit at the feet of the Father, constantly seek His face, proclaim His words, restore His divine order, intercede on behalf of His people and expose the deceptive plans of the enemy.
"Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets." (Amos 3:7).
